01 / BUSINESS CONTEXT

Introduce the food and give diners a clear next step.

Online problem being addressed. Diners need to find the menu, check visiting details and order food. Catering customers need a separate route to plan an event.

02 / DESIGN STRATEGY

Specific choices.
A clearer next step.

I paired close-up barbecue photography with condensed headlines, charcoal surfaces and warm red accents. The opening message, Texas Barbecue. Made From Scratch., puts the food at the center of the introduction.

Messaging and content approach. I gave the menu, catering and gallery their own pages, with the restaurant story and visiting details on the homepage. Customers can browse the food before placing an order or planning a visit.

  • 01Food photography in the opening screen
  • 02Dedicated menu, catering and gallery pages
  • 03Restaurant story alongside visiting information
  • 04Mobile menu and ordering shortcuts

03 / DESKTOP

Room to establish the story.

On desktop, diners see the Texas Barbecue. Made From Scratch. headline beside a large food photograph. The menu, catering, gallery, story and visit navigation sit alongside online ordering.

04 / MOBILE

The same confidence in one hand.

On mobile, diners see barbecue photography followed by the made-from-scratch introduction and a menu button. An ordering shortcut sits in the compact header.

IMPORTANT INTERACTIONS

Useful actions stay close to the customer’s intent.

Customers can move from browsing the menu to the restaurant’s ordering service, or find the location and hours before setting out.

  1. 01Explore the menu
  2. 02Open online ordering
  3. 03Find directions and visiting hours
  4. 04Explore catering
